We are looking for a hands-on Controller to assist the Director of Finance in providing leadership and vision to our rapidly growing business.  The position is located in our Grand Prairie, TX office but will work with all branches of the company.  You will actively participate in managing day-to-day operations, including: Business Planning, P& L Management, Contract Management, Risk Management, Human Resources, A/P, A/R, Payroll, Collections, Job Cost, Cash Flow Analysis, and Resource Management.  Responsibilities also include review and assistance with manufacturing operations.

As Controller you will also:

      ·Perform analytical review of the financial results

      ·Assist the branch operating teams in all areas of day to day financial management.  Assist in ongoing review and projection of job costs and cash flow.  Recommend strategies to enhance profitability and cash flow and assist the branch teams in the implementation of those strategies

      ·Assist in the oversight of collections.  Review outstanding receivables and follow up with branches regarding collection status.   Assist branches with collection efforts by recommending processes and procedures aimed at improving the collection process

      ·Assist in development and implementation of process improvement initiatives for manufacturing operations

      ·Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and the overall analytical review and interpretation of the results

      ·Assist in implementation of new accounting processes and procedures and other special projects as required

Requirements include a BS degree in Accounting or Business Administration along with 5-7 years of operational management experience demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.  Experience in the Construction or Manufacturing industries along with a CPA or MBA is preferred.  Candidate must have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and work well within a team environment.  Familiarity with computerized general ledger systems and strong computer software skills (Excel and MS Word) are also required.  The successful candidate will also have a thorough understanding of accounting processes and principles along with strong analytical skills.
